Lace Up and Walk for the Animals to Support Homeless Pets at the Humane Society of Greater Miami!

MIAMI, FL— (March 7, 2022) – Miami’s most fun and furry Walk for the Animals is back for it’s 23^rd annual fundraiser – and it’s better than ever! The Humane Society of Greater Miami invites you to join their virtual Walk from March 13^th until April 8^th and challenges you to get active every day to help raise much-needed funds for the homeless animals of Miami!

You may be wondering – how can a walk be “virtual?” It’s simple – and fun!  When you register and create your online fundraising page, you can ask your friends to make donations directly to your page, or they can pledge donations for every mile you complete and log! Then YOU choose where and how you raise money. Whether you choose to take on the great outdoors by walking, running or biking, or you prefer to stay indoors and rack up the miles on your peloton or by following your favorite online dance class, every mile helps the shelter pets!

The integration of the Movespring app makes things even more fun and interactive as you can easily link movement from your activity tracker, like your Fitbit or Apple Watch, and see your progress and standing on the virtual journey map. Along the way you will find special messages from sponsors and incentives to keep achieving more miles and raising more money for Miami’s homeless pets.

But wait, there’s more! At the end of the month-long virtual Walk, participants will be able to get together and celebrate their accomplishments at the fun and fur-child friendly Walk Closing Party at The Wharf in Miami. At the “paw”ty, walkers will receive their hard-earned goodies and prizes will be awarded to the top three individuals and top Pack based on fundraising and based on miles. It’s sure to be a “howling” good time!
