You’ll be rocking around the Christmas tree and menorah as you ring in the most wonderful time of the year with friends and family! There will be food trucks and delicious treats, plus creamy hot chocolate to warm the heart and get you in the spirit. There will also be tons of fun for people and pups of all ages, including games, giveaways, an exciting scavenger hunt and more. Visit our various vendor booths while the kids have a blast riding the trackless train and jumping around in the holiday bounce house. And don’t forget to say hi to all of the shelter dogs and cats, who will be rocking their holiday sweaters and howling with holiday cheer!
You will not want to miss the enchanting shelter-lighting ceremony, which will brighten the shelter for all of the homeless pets waiting to find their forever families. And no celebration is complete without a visit from the big man in red. You’ll love witnessing the thrilling arrival of Santa “Paws” as he makes his grand entrance atop a City of North Miami Beach Police truck!

This magical event is the culmination of our annual Holiday Lights for the Animals fundraiser, which raises money to give homeless dogs and cats the holiday they deserve while they await their forever families at the shelter. Every donation made through this campaign shines a light of H.O.P.E – Helping Orphaned Pets Everyday – for all of our shelter pets. Through special donations, you can help give a shelter pet comfort and joy this holiday season.
$20 gives a holiday blanket or sweater
$100 illuminates a wreath or menorah
$200 gives a comfy bed
$500 decorates an animal’s window or tree
