Miami Day is a unique, 24-hour online giving event that allows individuals in our community an opportunity to build a greater Miami by making a charitable gift to a local nonprofit. All gifts will be processed through GiveMiamiDay.org on November 20^th from midnight to midnight.

The Miami Foundation and its partners have committed an initial monetary pool as incentive dollars to match a percentage of contributions received during Give Miami Day. During the  inaugural Give Miami Day in December 12, 2012, Miami ignited a movement that had never been tested in our community before.  The result was more than $1.2 million raised for 300 nonprofit organizations. Almost 5,000 donors spanning the city, nation and globe joined the effort. In 2013, for the second annual Give Miami Day an amazing achievement of $3,264,155.00 in donations and 12,286 gifts were made in total for 300 charities. Although our donations total of $9,420 might seems small compared to the total amount raised, we were extremely proud of our supporters and of the 9th place by the count of gifts received!!!

Give Miami Day provides you with a 24-hour opportunity to make a donation to your favorite cause and to give us the opportunity to receive a bonus for your contribution from Give Miami Day. The Humane Society of Greater Miami donation page will be live on November 14, but you will be able to make a donation only on November 20 starting from midnight.
