Brunch for the Animals

November 23, 2014

FOR THE SECOND YEAR, THE SPECTACULAR FONTAINEBLEAU MIAMI BEACH IS HOSTING THE HUMANE SOCIETY OF GREATER MIAMI’S BRUNCH FOR THE ANIMALS ON SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 23, 2014

In its 18th year this event promises to be bigger and better than ever and there are still a few tickets available

MIAMI, FL—November 19, 2014 – Sunday brunch is always a culinary treat. But when you get to be spoiled by the Fontainebleau Miami Beach and at the same time help raise funds for animals in need – it is just the best! If you have never been to the Humane Society of Greater Miami’s Brunch for the Animals you are really missing out. Presented and hosted by the Fontainebleau Miami Beach on Sunday, November 23, 2014, this event combines an array of scrumptious and gourmet food, delicious cocktails as well as fabulous shopping, great fun and camaraderie. Due to a rainy forecast for this Sunday, the event has moved indoors and unfortunately the dogs are not allowed in the ballroom. All guests will enjoy a stunning ocean-front view in the beautiful Glimmer Ballroom; it will still be a truly magical afternoon.

The Humane Society of Greater Miami’s Brunch for the Animals takes place annually to raise funds for the care, medical treatment and shelter of more than 400 animals we care for on a daily basis in our shelter and through our foster care program. Always scheduled right before the holidays, guests will be able to start their holiday shopping early at an exciting silent auction and enjoy many of the Fontainebleau hotel retailers. We are honored to have Alan G. Randolph and Steven Rodriguez and Amy Zakarin and Isaac Rosenberg as Chairs of the event. Belkys Nerey, Emmy-award winning Channel 7 news personality, will emcee the event.

The Brunch has gathered Miami’s greatest Host Committee members including Michele Addison, Lana and Michael Bernstein, Angela and Louis Birdman, Sam Blum, Tara Gilani, Perry Ellis International, Irene  Korge, Alison Kunkel, Marcia Martinez and Michael Laas, Suzanne and Todd Legon, PetNet, James Provencher, Adam and Brooke Rosenfeld, Brigitt Rok, Mara Schwartz and Jordan Fein, Amanda and Michael Tillman, Judge Bronwyn Miller and Maury Udell and Deborah Young.

Brunch for the Animals Sponsors include: The Fontainebleau Miami Beach, Bacardi, BluBell Ice-cream,  Square One Branding, C1 bank, Edlen Electric, Hierbas, Melthous, Square One Branding, Southern Audio Visual, Tito’s Handmade Vodka, Zoological Wildlife Foundation, WSVN, to name a few.

The event starts at 11:30am. Tickets are $200 per person, $50 for children ages 3 to 10, and while this event supports the animals, please let Fido relax at home! It is a people only event.
