Special Needs Pets

Rocky
Rocky
Rocky is a handsome three year-old Rottweiler mix with unusual markings. He looks like a small Rottweiler but has faint blue merle markings throughout his coat and one eye that is partially blue (suggesting that he may have a bit of Australian Shepherd or Catahoula Hound in him). He weighs about 40 pounds. Rocky is gentle, friendly, easy going, sweet and affectionate. Not a mean bone in this dog's body! He would make a great family pet. Rocky is a special needs pet because he has hip dysplasia. He will probably need surgery at some point. In the mean time, he must be on medication to help make him comfortable. Rocky is an outstanding dog and he desperately needs a loving family to adopt him and help him get the care he needs. For more information please call Julie at 305-749-1806.

Tomasa
Tomasa
Tomasa is an active four year-old German Shepherd. She is friendly and rambunctious and she loves to run and play. Tomasa is a healthy, gorgeous dog. She is a special needs pet because she has a food allergy that requires that she be on a special diet. To learn more about Tomasa, please contact Julie at 305-749-1806.

Ally
Ally
Ally is a handsome five year old kitty. He has lived with other cats and he is very friendly. Ally is a special needs pet because he has very sensitive teeth and he needs to be on a special diet food. Other than that, he is a healthy, happy kitty that longs for a home to call his own. Please call the Soffer and Fine Adoption Center at 305-696-0800 for more information about Ally.
Neptune
Neptune
Neptune is a handsome two year old kitty with a sleek black coat. He is inquisitive and affectionate! Neptune is a special needs pet because he is blind, although that does not stop him from doing many of the things that other cats do! His new family can help him by introducing him to his new house slowly, which will allow him to map out his surroundings using his other senses. Neptune must live indoors. If you would like to consider giving a second chance to this deserving kitty, please visit our Soffer and Fine Adoption Center or call Julie at 305-749-1805 for more information.
