to raise awareness for the
Humane Society of Greater Miami Adopt-A-Pet
Orchestra Miami will present a fun-filled Family Concert, featuring a performance of Respighi’s Gli Uccelli (“The Birds”) and Saint-Saens’ Carnival of the Animals. The orchestra will be led by Orchestra Miami Artistic Director Elaine Rinaldi and the featured piano soloists on the Carnival of the Animals will be duo pianists b2ce Ignacio Diaz Gravier and Leila Torres. Concert-goers will be greeted by the zany antics of the Fantasy Theater Factory and on the way out of the concert, will have an opportunity to give a loving home to a needy animal from the Humane Society of Greater Miami’s Adopt-A-Pet.
“As a devoted dog mom to my 13 year old adopted dog, I am very pleased to be able to use this concert to raise awareness for such a worthy cause.”, says Orchestra Miami Artistic Director Elaine Rinaldi. “With the music being all about the animals, it is the perfect fit!”
