The Humane Society of Greater Miami Adopt-A-Pet is dedicated to creating a humane community in which all companion animals have homes with responsible, committed and loving caregivers. Since our creation in 1936, we have helped tens of thousands of orphaned dogs and cats find loving homes. But, we can't do it alone.

The Humane Society is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization that receives no government funding or funding from any national animal welfare groups such as the Humane Society of the United States or the ASPCA. We rely on the kindness and generosity of animal lovers in our community to allow us to continue our life-saving mission. Your support is desperately needed!

Shelter Wish List

- Rubber chew toys for dogs (especially “indestructible” types such as Kongs: see example here )

- Cat climbing furniture/“trees” (without fabric covering/carpeting)
