HSGM thinks that

Greyhounds Are G-r-r-r-reat!

The Humane Society of Greater Miami is pleased to announce the opening of the Greyhounds Are G-r-r-r-reat Adoption and Education Center at the Soffer and Fine Adoption Center. HSGM believes that all dogs, including Greyhounds, deserve loving, permanent homes with committed caregivers. Because of the overwhelming number of homeless Greyhounds in South Florida, HSGM has dedicated a special lifestyle room in the Soffer and Fine Adoption Center to caring for and encouraging the adoption of these magnificent, majestic dogs. HSGM will work with Greyhound rescue groups in Miami-Dade and Broward Counties to help find loving, life-long homes for some of the many Greyhounds in their care.

HSGM's Executive Director Sallie Byrd (on the right) introduces the new Greyhound suite and explains how it will help many deserving Greyhounds. Beside Sallie is a representative from Friends of Greyhounds, a devoted Greyhound rescue group that will provide the Greyhounds for adoption at HSGM.
