Humane
Society of Greater Miami Adopt-A-Pet
Purina Walk for the Animals 2008
Walkers came from far and wide to show their support at Bayfront
Park!
Animal lovers and their dogs turned out for the Humane Society of
Greater Miami and Adopt-A-Pet's annual
Walk for
the Animals on February 23, 2008 at Bayfront Park in Downtown Miami.
What
a fun event this was! Whether you chose to watch exciting canine
demonstrations or expand your creativity in the interactive kid's
area which featured arts and crafts, games, a bounce house, and
face painting or letting your dog try a fun agility course, this
was a true family event where everyone got to enjoy themselves,
specially the four-legged!
National
and local companies turned out to support the event, including Purina
as the Walk's title sponsor, and Ryder System, Inc., Comcast, Cafe
Pilon, Pet Supermarket, Petco, Costco, Franktitude, Universoty of
Miami, Pet King, The Florida Marlins, Camp BowWow, PetStyle, Zephyrhills,
Pet Point and The Bank of New York Mellon. Media sponsors included:
NBC 6, 101.5 LITE FM and The Miami Herald/el Nuevo Herald.
