Veterinarian: The Humane Society of Greater Miami is seeking ft/pt experienced veterinarians for spay/neuter surgeries and to oversee general healthcare of shelter animals. Veterinarian Technician:
The Humane Society of Greater Miami/Adopt-A-Pet is looking for a full-time vet tech with expertise in veterinary nursing care. Must have great organizational skills, a professional attitude and appearance, proficiencies in calculations and measurements, knowledge of medications and dosages, and knowledge of shampoos and disinfectants. Adoption Counselor:

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Assist the public with animal adoptions, helping them to select an animal that fits their lifestyle. Process adoption paperwork, maintaining accurate records of all adoptions. Follow adoption policies and procedures. Work with kennel staff to assist with feeding, walking (dogs), cleaning & disinfecting feline and canine areas to HSGM standards; educate the public with accurate information and with friendly and professional behavior in all areas of the HSGM mission. Kennel Associate:
Job responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Clean & disinfect feline and canine areas to shelter standards. Keep assigned areas clean and ready for public viewing upon opening of the shelter, and do a final check/cleaning at the end of each shift. Wash & dry laundry and dishware as necessary. Feed animals according to schedule set by your supervisor - water bowls must never become low or empty. EOE + benefits package.
