A long time client of Biscayne Animal Hospital found beautiful Isis badly injured and brought her in for treatment. He was generous enough to pay for her to get radiographed as well as to get her first procedure done, but he could not afford to pay for her continued care. Dr. Goldstein at Biscayne Animal Hospital called and asked us if we were willing to take her in and step in on the case and we did. She was in pretty bad condition starting with a serious injury to her right elbow. She had to have 3 orthopedic surgeries to try and repair the leg before she unfortunately contracted a bad infection and had to have it removed. There was also skin cancer found on her abdomen, which was successfully removed also. Even though she came to us in May of this year it took her a long time to recover from her injuries and illness. Luckily Isis has recovered beautifully. She is a sweet little lady with amazing spirit that does not seem fazed by these past few months of difficulty, which is very telling of her character. We would love to find a home for this gorgeous girl. She has spent enough time in the shelter setting, she needs a family to call her own and she needs to start her life again! She has many wonderful years ahead of her.
