What is a Pack?
A Pack is a group of two or more people who work together to reach a minimum fundraising goal. Packs receive special goodies such as a personalized Pack t-shirt for each Pack member raising $50, one Pack sign for every 12 members, and a Pack photo. The Pack raising the most money gets to howl at a "Leader of the Packs" party. Pack members are eligible for both Pack prizes and individual prizes (including stays at the fabulous Loews Miami Beach Hotel, the luxurious Mandarin Oriental, Miami and the fun-filled Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, Florida!).

The Walk for the Animals has two categories of Packs:
Big Dog Packs for walkers over 18 and Proud Pup Kids Packs for 18 and under.

Give each Pack member their own sponsor form encourage them to go online and create their own free and easy to create fundraising webpage (have them click "Register now!" on HSGM's website's Walk pages or click here for more information).

To qualify as a Pack and receive Pack goodies, leaders must register their Packs by Monday, February 13th, 2006 by mail (mail to: Walk 2006 Pack Registration, Humane Society of Greater Miami/Adopt-A-Pet 16101 W Dixie Hwy North Miami Beach, FL 33160) or in person (same address). Remember to include a registration form for each Pack member. For kid's Packs, each child must have their registration form signed by their parent/guardian.

Personalized Pack goodies will be ready for pick up Wednesday, February 22nd, 2006 at the Soffer and Fine Adoption Center (16101 W Dixie Hwy, N Miami Beach).

Have fun, collect donations and know that you are making a real difference in the lives of homeless pets! Additional dollars collected after Pack registration and turned in the day of the Walk will be added to your Pack totals.
